Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing structural systems for various projects. You will collaborate closely with architects and other engineers to ensure project success while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft design plans for various building structures.
• Assess environmental impact of proposed designs.
• Lead project teams in developing innovative engineering solutions.
• Prepare presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for project approvals.
• Research new technologies and materials to enhance structural designs.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Conduct peer reviews of design work and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Higher degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Revit
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Structural Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
