Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of local tax regulations and a proven track record in tax compliance and advisory services. In this role, you will assist clients with tax planning, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance services to clients, including preparation and submission of tax returns.
• Advise clients on tax implications of their business decisions and transactions.
• Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to provide informed advice.
• Assist in tax audits and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Professional qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax advisory roles or audit background with strong tax knowledge
