We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems within various projects. Responsibilities

• Manage electrical design projects from concept to completion.
• Work with other engineers to integrate electrical systems into wider projects.
• Create detailed specifications for electrical equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems.
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Lead safety training for team members.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders.
• Document project processes and outcomes.
• Contribute to project reviews and lessons learned sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Power Systems Design

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of renewable energy systems: Experience with solar or wind energy projects.
