Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee and enhance our logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. You will ensure the efficient management of logistics and supply chain processes, facilitating seamless communication and coordination between vendors, clients, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of goods by coordinating with transporters and warehouse staff.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Implement best practices in logistics operations and encourage eco-friendly practices.
• Evaluate shipping options for cost-effectiveness and reliability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or similar field

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management

Technical Skills

• SAP Logistics Software
• Data Analysis Tools

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Project Management Tools: Experience with tools like Trello or Asana for project tracking.
• Multilingual abilities: Proficiency in Afrikaans or Xhosa is a plus.
