Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our innovative team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and a mind for user experience, capable of transforming simple concepts into smooth, engaging user interfaces. You will collaborate with developers and other designers to create high-quality, responsive designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality user interface components.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes into interactive designs.
• Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and user experience standards.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts.
• Take feedback from users and team members to enhance and optimize designs.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent industry experience

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in user interface design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• InVision

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with design systems: Familiarity with creating and managing design style guides.
