Pharmacist

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Pharmacist who is passionate about patient care and has knowledge of pharmaceuticals to join our innovative team. This role requires not only dispensing medications but also educating patients on their use and potential side effects.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions with a focus on patient safety.
• Engage with patients to discuss their medication therapies and health goals.
• Work with the pharmacy team to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with healthcare laws.
• Evaluate patient prescription histories to avert potential medication errors.
• Assist in community health education initiatives and wellness programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy

Certifications

• Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Clinical Trials: Previous involvement in clinical trials or research related to pharmaceuticals.
• Bilingual: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or Zulu would be advantageous.
