Industrial Engineer

Job Description

Our Cape Town facility is looking for a motivated Industrial Engineer. You'll be responsible for assessing existing processes and implementing effective engineering solutions. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and improving our product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ergonomic workspaces to enhance worker efficiency.
• Monitor performance metrics to evaluate effective process improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to enhance supply chain processes.
• Lead training sessions for staff on new engineering protocols and practices.
• Analyze production schedules and adjust workflows as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Utilize simulation software to model operational changes and project outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
