Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kimberley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of a variety of structures. You will work closely with other engineers and architects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for various structural projects.
  • Research and implement new materials and techniques in construction.
  • Ensure all designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct load tests and other evaluations to assess structural integrity.
  • Prepare presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Compile and maintain project documentation for reference.
  • Foster a safety-first culture within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous
  • Relevant certification in project management is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in complex structural projects
