Job Description

As an IT Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our technology infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your knowledge of data protection and IT governance is essential as you will work closely with various departments to implement compliance standards across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the compliance and governance of IT systems and processes.
• Lead compliance training initiatives for IT staff and other departments.
• Work with legal and security teams to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Perform assessments of compliance controls and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with external regulatory agencies as required.
• Monitor IT compliance with data protection regulations and frameworks.
• Prepare compliance reports for stakeholders.
• Facilitate audits and compliance checks regularly.
• Identify compliance gaps and propose corrective actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in IT compliance or governance roles
