Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, producing actionable insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across various departments. You'll work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, build reports, and visualize data to present findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to inform business strategy.
• Design and implement metrics to measure success.
• Collaborate in project teams to integrate data solutions.
• Use statistical software to cleanse and manipulate data.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests.
• Stay updated on industry trends to apply best practices in data analysis.
• Mentor junior analysts in technical and analytical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree in Data Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• R Programming

Certifications

• Certified Data Management Professional
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
