Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our Johannesburg team, responsible for assessing and treating various mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through interviews and assessments.
• Design and execute evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver psychotherapy to individuals and groups.
• Collaborate on treatment with psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding patient care.
• Support clients in crisis management and intervention.
• Contribute to mental health seminars and workshops.
• Research and implement new methods in therapeutic practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology
• Specialization in Clinical Psychology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in mental health practice

Technical Skills

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Group Therapy Facilitation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Active Listening

Certifications

• Registered Clinical Psychologist
• Mental Health First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with teletherapy: Experience providing therapy through virtual platforms is a plus.
