Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Chartered Accountant to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct audits and assist in the preparation of audit reports.
• Manage tax compliance and filing, including VAT and income tax returns.
• Provide analytical support for budget planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain and update accounting records in compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in the training and development of junior accounting staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA SA) is essential

• 5+ years of extensive experience in accounting and audit roles
