Responsibilities

• Lead mental health staff meetings and coordinate activities.
• Assess community mental health needs and develop strategies.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in fundraising efforts for mental health programs.
• Advocate for patients' rights and accessibility to care.
• Utilize data to measure program success and areas for improvement.
• Document all meetings and maintain communication channels.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Master's degree in Mental Health is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in mental health

• Mental Health Assessment
• Therapeutic Communication

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Mental Health First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

• Grant writing experience: Ability to write proposals for funding mental health initiatives.
