Heating Servicer

Job Description

The Heating Servicer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in residential and commercial buildings. Ideal candidates should have experience in handling various types of heating and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with heating systems and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and workspaces.
• Educate clients on heating system maintenance practices.
• Perform emergency repairs as required.
• Assist in the installation of custom heating solutions as per client specifications.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent
• Trade certificate in Heating Services or similar

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and thermostats
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, such as multimeters and pressure gauges

Soft Skills

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with renewable energy systems, such as solar panels or geothermal heat pumps: Hands-on knowledge in integrating renewable energy solutions with existing heating systems.
• Additional certifications or qualifications in related fields: Relevant certifications will enhance the application.
