Mental Health Specialists is looking for a passionate Clinical Psychologist to work in Cape Town. This positioning requires conducting individual assessments and therapy sessions to address various mental health challenges, playing a vital role in our holistic approach to mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual therapy sessions and manage group therapy dynamics.
• Analyze diagnostic tests and results to inform treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and social workers in patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in practice.
• Evaluate and document changes in patient conditions and feedback.
• Advocate for mental health awareness in community settings.
• Foster a safe, supportive environment for clients.
• Keep abreast of psychological trends and apply them in practice.
• Train new staff and contribute to team building activities.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Psychology
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in clinical psychology practice
