Job Description

As a Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender at Manufacturing Innovations Ltd., you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling machines that produce precision components. Your technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual boring mills to manufacture precision components.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust as needed to achieve desired results.
• Conduct inspections and tests on completed parts to maintain quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Assist with the training of new team members on machine operations.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and solving machining problems.
• Document and report any machine malfunctions or necessary repairs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Technical certification or apprenticeship in machining or related field

Experience

• Experience in a production environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operation of Fanuc and Siemens controls

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens CNC controls: Hands-on experience with advanced CNC systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of production workflows: Knowledge of efficient production processes is an advantage.
