Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist in Port Elizabeth to strengthen our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network security, risk management, and incident response strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop incident response plans and playbooks.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with local and international data protection regulations.
• Maintain and update security documentation and reports.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving security posture.
• Participate in security training and awareness initiatives.
• Engage in ethical hacking and simulated attacks to test organizational defenses.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in cybersecurity

• Security Auditing

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• GSEC: GIAC Security Essentials Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
