Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to patient care and be knowledgeable about various medications and their effects. This role involves dispensing medications, providing patient consultations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medication reviews for patients.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Implement best practices for medication management.
• Support the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Assist with financial and inventory management.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and junior staff.
• Participate in clinical research and trials where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Clinical pharmacy experience preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a community pharmacy

• Medication Therapy Management

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent
