We are looking for a motivated Environmental Consultant to join our Durban office. In this role, you will assess environmental impacts and develop strategies to promote sustainability. Your expertise will help clients meet environmental regulations and implement eco-friendly practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments of environmental risks and impacts.
• Create comprehensive reports and recommendations based on assessments.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Advocate for sustainable practices within client organizations.
• Facilitate workshops to educate stakeholders on environmental considerations.
• Monitor project compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Support the development of renewable energy projects.
• Engage with community stakeholders to promote awareness of environmental issues.
• Assist in the application of for environmental permits.
• Enhance the company's reputation by delivering high-quality consultancy services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
