Job Description

As a Residential Interior Designer, you will play a key role in shaping stylish and functional living spaces for our diverse clientele. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate their vision into reality, overseeing the design from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage multiple interior design projects simultaneously.
• Consult with clients during the design process to ensure their satisfaction.
• Conceptualize creative design solutions that balance aesthetics and functionality.
• Utilize design software to create visual representations of ideas.
• Track project progress and report on milestones to stakeholders.
• Incorporate feedback from clients and make necessary adjustments.
• Prepare design documentation and specifications for the execution team.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative design materials and practices.
• Foster a collaborative team environment to promote creative solutions.
• Support the growth of junior designers through mentorship and guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in luxury residential design

Technical Skills

• Revit
• 3D Visualization Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
