Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Environmental Engineer who is passionate about protecting our planet. Based in Cape Town, you’ll engage in various projects aimed at reducing environmental footprints and enhancing ecological health.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of environmental policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Create models to predict environmental impact of projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for project execution.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders.
• Work to improve sustainability practices within the company.
• Develop proposals for environmental improvement projects.
• Participate in project reviews and audits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in environmental engineering roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
