Job Description

Join our team as a Tax Specialist and leverage your expertise to assist our clients with their tax needs. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, offering tax advice, and ensuring adherence to all tax regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of current tax laws and a proactive approach to advising clients on tax-saving strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review and finalize clients' tax returns before submission.
• Provide recommendations to clients for tax minimization.
• Liaise with SARS on behalf of clients during audits.
• Write articles and materials on tax-related topics for publication.
• Educate clients about effective tax strategies.
• Monitor compliance deadlines to avoid penalties.
• Evaluate tax positions to limit exposures.
• Conduct seminars and workshops on tax issues.
• Compile and maintain an extensive tax database.
• Offer insight into corporate tax structures and benefits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Post-graduate diploma in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
