As an Insurance Underwriter, you'll play a crucial role in assessing risks and determining coverage options for potential clients. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate policy issuance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with insurance applicants.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive underwriting files for reference.
• Work closely with reinsurance teams to manage risk effectively.
• Interpret policy wording and help resolve policy disputes.
• Provide administrative support to the underwriting department.
• Foster a collaborative environment among the underwriting team.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive client information.
• Understand and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Risk Management
• Relevant professional certifications preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry
