Interior Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an innovative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to interpret their vision into stunning design concepts, creating spaces that are both aesthetic and functional. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, materials, and trends, coupled with excellent communication skills to manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare initial sketches and detailed plans for client projects.
• Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine designs.
• Coordinate interior design elements including furniture, lighting, and decor.
• Oversee site installations, ensuring proper execution of the design.
• Maintain accurate records of changes and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all designs adhere to sustainability and environmental standards.
• Explore innovative materials and techniques that enhance design effectiveness.
• Train and mentor junior design staff on best practices and company standards.
• Develop a network of suppliers and industry contacts for potential collaborations.
