Responsibilities

• Analyze submissions from agents and clients, making coverage recommendations.
• Work with claims adjusters to determine the validity of claims.
• Ensure all underwriting decisions align with company policies and risk appetite.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss underwriting strategies.
• Develop relationships with brokers and agents for better collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Underwriting would be a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in insurance underwriting

• Claims Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
