Join our reputable Cape Town-based auditing team as an Auditor. Your role will involve thorough examination of financial documents, ensuring compliance, and providing feedback on operational practices to enhance financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive audits to ensure compliance.
• Draft and review audit documentation.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify weaknesses.
• Engage with various stakeholders during the audit process.
• Develop audit plans based on thorough risk assessments.
• Conduct meetings with clients to discuss audit outcomes.
• Provide actionable feedback for improved financial practices.
• Mentor and guide less experienced auditors.
• Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy.
• Support organizational change initiatives related to auditing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
• CA(SA) qualification is highly desirable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in an auditing role

Certifications

• ACCA or CIMA certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in tax audits: Knowledge of tax auditing procedures and compliance.
