Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Wireman responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation of electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions effectively.
• Create detailed reports on work performed and materials used.
• Ensure all installation work meets or exceeds industry standards.
• Manage on-site safety protocols for the electrical crew.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Participate in safety training and workshops.
• Track inventory levels to manage material usage efficiently.
• Assist in the development of project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• N6 Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Trade tested Wireman qualification

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience.

Technical Skills

• PLC Programming
• Low and Medium Voltage Systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• First Aid Certification
• Health and Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
