IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT systems and excellent troubleshooting skills. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and providing support to our staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective IT support for users across various departments.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of software licenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding IT usage.
• Conduct training sessions for new staff on IT equipment.
• Prepare reports on support request trends and technology use.
• Work on IT projects assigned by the IT manager.
• Assist in implementing IT policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback for software and hardware improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation of all IT processes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or similar
