Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Civil Engineer to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities. A suitable candidate will have solid experience in civil engineering projects and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop project designs and feasibility studies for various civil engineering projects.
• Coordinate with external parties such as contractors and local authorities.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical matters.
• Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality.
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to on all sites.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a proven track record of successful projects

Languages
