We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities, implementing protective measures, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, contributing to safeguarding our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development of incident response plans.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and software.
• Conduct security audits and maintain compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with external partners for vulnerability assessments.
• Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and developments.
• Provide input on security architecture design.
• Lead efforts to educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
