As a Dentist at our Port Elizabeth clinic, you will deliver high-quality dental care tailored to our patients' needs. Your role includes performing examinations, offering a range of treatments, and guiding patients in maintaining optimal oral hygiene. We're looking for someone with a strong commitment to patient care and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and diagnose oral conditions.
• Execute preventive services such as cleanings and fluoride treatments.
• Carry out advanced procedures such as root canals and crowns.
• Document patient history and treatment plans accurately.
• Advocate for best practices in dental care.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
• Participate in case discussions with the dental team.
• Promote a positive dental experience for patients.
• Assist with office administration as needed.
• Contribute to clinic's marketing and patient engagement efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Dentistry (DMD or DDS)
• Continuing education in specialized dental areas is beneficial.

Experience

• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced endodontics skills
• Cosmetic dentistry techniques

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership abilities
• Crisis management skills

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Sedation Dentistry Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
