Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the supply chain operations in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing our logistics processes, managing inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Enhance supply chain efficiency through process improvements.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage client expectations.
• Train and supervise logistics staff as required.
• Communicate with partners to align logistics with business needs.
• Implement best practices throughout the logistics operations.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of logistics coordination experience

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Optimization
• Inventory Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP systems: Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems for logistics.
• Fluency in Afrikaans: Good command of Afrikaans is an advantage for local communication.
