Environmental Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as an Environmental Engineer, where you will work closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices. You will be instrumental in conducting impact assessments and developing mitigation strategies for projects across various sectors.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate projects for potential environmental impacts and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical support for environmental compliance.
• Prepare environmental statements and assess legislation.
• Engage with stakeholders, including local communities and officials.
• Lead training sessions on sustainability practices for staff.
• Facilitate workshops to educate clients about environmental issues.
• Collaborate with engineers on site planning to minimize land disturbance.
• Review project plans and reports for compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of related experience
