We are on the lookout for a motivated Actuarial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will analyze financial data, develop models, and assist in assessing risk for various projects. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of actuarial principles and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk modeling and analysis for various products.
• Collaborate with data analysts to refine data accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of pricing structures for insurance products.
• Develop application tools and resources to streamline actuarial processes.
• Support audit processes with data and analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience within an actuarial firm or finance sector

Technical Skills

• Excel
• SQL

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
