Responsibilities

• Diagnose diseases and prescribe appropriate treatments.
• Perform routine check-ups and emergency care.
• Assist in the training of junior staff and interns.
• Manage anesthesia and monitor post-operative recovery.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs.
• Oversee the surgical suite to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with specialists for advanced care when needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Registered with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
