Job Description

We are currently seeking a Chemical Engineer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing processes for producing chemical products, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development for new chemical products.
• Research and implement new technologies in chemical manufacturing.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Analyze experimental results and refine methodologies.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders and management.
• Optimize resource utilization in production processes.
• Coordinate with supply chain to ensure effective material procurement.
• Conduct safety audits and training for team members.
• Support sustainability initiatives within the company.
• Document all processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
• Relevant certifications in process engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical process development

Languages
