Job Description

Join our Johannesburg team as an Actuary, where you will utilize your analytical skills to assess risks and develop financial strategies. You will play a key role in guiding our insurance products and ensuring the company remains competitive in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed actuarial analyses to evaluate the financial implications of risk.
  • Develop and implement pricing models for insurance products.
  • Prepare reports for management and other stakeholders to communicate findings.
  • Advise on investment strategies and capital management.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to refine product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with actuarial standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze trends in data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning and support business initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
  • Fellowship in a recognized actuarial society is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in actuarial roles within insurance
