Responsibilities

• Assess new and renewal insurance applications to determine coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer service.
• Provide recommendations for policy improvements based on risk analysis.
• Prepare reports on underwriting performance and trends.
• Train and mentor junior underwriters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Professional certifications in underwriting are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
