Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be involved in the design and execution of various civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute projects that meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Estimate project costs and prepare budget proposals.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety legislation.
• Review and respond to contractor submissions and queries.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing project progress and financial status.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure construction meets required standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers in the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in project management
