We are on the lookout for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and ensuring seamless IT operations. You will assist clients in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring quick resolutions to maintain productivity.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to IT requests from all levels of the organization.
• Perform regular audits of IT systems and software.
• Guide users on best practices for security and IT usage.
• Work collaboratively with the IT team to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure all IT supports comply with company standards.
• Support the implementation of new software tools and updates.
• Prepare reports on IT support activities and productivity.
• Engage in proactive measures to prevent IT issues.
• Assist with onboarding new staff regarding IT needs.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field
• Bachelor's degree will be considered an asset

Experience

• 3+ years in IT technical support or similar roles

Technical Skills

• Active Directory
• Remote Assistance Tools

Soft Skills

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in Cybersecurity practices: Familiarity with basic cybersecurity measures and practices.
• Knowledge of database management: Experience with SQL Server and database troubleshooting.
