Public Health Specialist

Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in assessing community health needs and developing effective programs to meet those needs. This role requires you to work closely with community leaders, health professionals, and other stakeholders to implement evidence-based strategies for improving health outcomes across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop community outreach activities and health education materials.
• Coordinate with healthcare facilities to enhance public health services.
• Utilize data to inform evidence-based health interventions.
• Advocate for community health initiatives and policies.
• Enhance stakeholder relationships to foster collaborative public health efforts.
• Oversee public health program compliance with regulations.
• Build capacity among community health partners.
• Emergency preparedness activities related to public health threats.
• Support mental health initiatives in the community as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in community health programs
