Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and streamline our supply chain operations in Durban. The successful candidate will work closely with different teams to ensure timely transportation, optimal utilization of resources, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.
• Manage relationships with customers, resolving any logistical issues.
• Optimize transportation routes and monitor freight costs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to foresee potential operational challenges.
• Generate reports on logistics performance and KPIs.
• Utilize logistics software for tracking and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the finance team regarding budget considerations.
• Conduct regular audits of logistics processes.
• Implement best practices for inventory management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles
