Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living activities and personal care routines.
• Help clients engage in social and recreational activities.
• Monitor clients' health, reporting any changes to the appropriate professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Assist with rehabilitation exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Home Health Aide preferred

Experience

• 1+ years experience in a caregiving role

Technical Skills

• Basic medical knowledge
• First aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• CPR certification: Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation for emergencies.
• Experience with elderly care: Prior experience working with elderly clients preferred.
