Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on proper use, and contributing to their overall healthcare journey. Your expertise will help ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Administer immunizations and health checks as required.
  • Provide expert advice on over-the-counter medications.
  • Perform drug utilization reviews to promote safe and effective medication use.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on health issues.
  • Assist in the training of pharmacy interns and support staff.
  • Monitor adverse drug reactions and report them as necessary.
  • Help develop pharmacy policies and procedures to improve patient care.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations and pharmacy standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
  • Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmacy environment
