Job Description

We are in search of a Data Scientist to join our forward-thinking team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will utilise statistical methods and machine learning capabilities to interpret complex data for decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing systems.
• Optimize application performance and enhance user experience.
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate new features.
• Conduct system updates and maintain system integrity.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Provide training and support to team members on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
