Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide medication counseling and educate patients regarding medication therapy.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Conduct health screenings and immunization services.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs.
• Manage pharmacy staff and assist with training.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
