Responsibilities

• Perform thorough edits to improve the readability and flow of content.
• Check for factual accuracy and provide source verification when necessary.
• Collaborate with other editors and departments to align on style and branding.
• Contribute to the development of editorial guidelines and best practices.
• Train junior editors and interns in editing techniques and standards.
• Monitor the quality of published materials and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Editing, English, or a related field
• Master's or relevant certification is advantageous

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in a similar editing role

Technical Skills

• Copy Editing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in academic publishing: Background in editing academic papers or journal articles.
