We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as a New Patient Escort. Your main task will be to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of patients within our healthcare facility. This is a vital role that involves excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide escort services for patients within the healthcare environment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families about their transport needs.
• Assist during patient transfers within the facility.
• Maintain adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Reassure patients experiencing discomfort or anxiety.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to enhance transport procedures.
• Keep accurate logs of all patient transportation activities.
• Participate in training and meetings as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting is advantageous.
