Job Description

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team in Durban. Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. You will play a vital role in enhancing our IT operations and helping colleagues resolve technical problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and prioritize support requests based on urgency and impact.
• Provide remote support to users when necessary.
• Participate in IT team meetings to discuss issues and propose solutions.
• Assess and recommend software and hardware for purchase.
• Create user accounts and manage access levels in compliance with security policies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science or IT
• Certifications in networking or system administration are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in IT support
