Job Description

As a Lap Cutter, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for cutting and shaping lap joints for various wood and metal structures, ensuring precision and quality in every cut. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and onboarding of new machine operators.
• Contribute ideas for production efficiency and quality improvements.
• Monitor production output and report any issues to management.
• Help maintain inventory levels of cutting materials.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste.
• Coordinate with logistics to schedule material deliveries.
• Assist in implementing safety audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship is an asset
